Bavarian Main State Archives, Munich (DE)

Archives of the Republic of Slovenia, Ljubljana (SI)
Digitisation of archival material in Slovenia is gaining more
and more awareness. One big project was started in the year
2000 with the digitisation of the Franziscean Land Cadastre
from 1826 (named after the Habsburg Emperor Francis I). In
2004 a programme for data search was created and is available
online via the following link: http://www.arhiv.gov.si/en/
Within another project in the years 2004-2005 the Deeds
Collection of the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia were
digitised.

National Archives of the Czech Republic, Prague (CZ)
Apart from several digitizing projects and the preparation and
implementation of metadata, members of the National Archives
in Prague as well as from other Czech Archives were able to
enhance the archival network and dissemination on various
opportunities via communicating the general achievements of
the Monasterium online-portal (www.monasterium.net) and the
archival association ICARUS.
Budapest City Archives, Budapest (HU)
The Budapest City Archives established an Archive Portal of
Hungarian Self-governing Archives by the commission of the
Hungarian Ministry of Education and Culture. With the
cooperation of 21 Hungarian Archives, 5 different databases
were created based on the same frame system.
1.. Summarized database: contains various digitized documents
and data from Archives
2.. Inventory of fonds and subfonds
3.. Documents of the MDP Party (Working People´s Party) and
the Hungarian Social Workers´ Party (MSZMP)
4.. Cadastral maps
5.. Database of Archival publications

Archives of the Diocese of Passau, Passau (DE)
The Archives of the Diocese of Passau host a large amount of
documents from various Bavarian parishes. In a number of
digitising projects this archival material will be made
available online, with a main emphasis on the registers.
Furthermore the Archive is planning to build a new outpost in
Altoetting, focussing on the topic of pilgrimage.
Croatian State Archives, Zagreb (HR)
By the end of 2006 the Croatian State Archives initiated the
construction of a new archival information system which
comprises all processes concerning the activities of more than
150 archival institutions in Croatia. ARHiNET is accessible
via the Internet from anywhere and not only permits the search
and retrieval of data through the Internet but it also allows
access to all program functions used for processing,
describing and managing of records.
